About Coach Brandi
CEO and Lead Coach Brandi Dawson-King
Brandi was born and raised in Columbus, GA. She attended Albany State University (GA), and obtained her B.S. in Psychology and Human Services from Troy State University. Her graduate studies are in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Community Counseling.
Brandi has professional experience and training in sales and marketing, case management, counseling in mental health, substance abuse, homelessness, foster children, and community resources. She is currently working within her true passions: coaching and consulting, workshop facilitation, networking, and writing.
Coach Brandi’s professional affiliations include memberships in the Society of Women Entrepreneurs, American Psychological Association, Columbus Local Interagency Coordinating Council (Past-chair), International Coach Federation, and the Association of Coaching and Consulting Professionals on the Web, One Columbus, Inc., and Toastmasters.
Professional and personal experience also has created her interest in working with fellow families of individuals with special needs. On a personal level, Brandi is the mother of two beautiful children Nia Gabrielle, and Orrand Jr. Additionally, Brandi is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She is also a contributing writer for magazines and newspapers.
